John and Viola had owned their duplex for over 5O years but hadn't renovated since the 80's. After two decades in Dubai, they wanted to return to a home that matched the high-end lifestyle they were accustomed to - with more space, comfort, and a modern finish.

Complex structural alterations designed to maximise ceiling heights, strengthen the property and unlock additional living space.

THE CHALLENGE
Structural complications and restricted acess.

Limited access due to communal areas, public gardens, protected trees and nearby bike dock
Unsafe previous loft conversion - non-structural joists were split and inadequote.
Building management company put the work on hold due to structural concems.
Use of scaffolding and platforms made logistics complex and time-consuming.



Negotiation & Coordination
We took ownership, liased with all parties and negotiated a solution accepted by both the client and management.
